BOCAUE, Philippines — June 12, 2026, marked a major milestone for TriNics as the team gathered to celebrate its 9th anniversary. The day was packed with camaraderie, athletic recognition, and a powerful demonstration of the team’s commitment to giving back to the community.

The celebration kicked off early at 5:30 AM at Casa Guillermo by Gitna ng Nayon, where 75 enthusiastic members gathered for a short, easy run followed by a simple breakfast together. The morning energy set a perfect tone for a day dedicated to reflection, celebration, and looking forward to the future.

Honoring Ironman Achievers and Looking Ahead

Following the breakfast, TriNics President Mr. Ricky Halasan delivered a quick update on the club's trajectory. A key highlight of his address was the special commendation of the TriNics athletes who recently conquered the grueling Subic Ironman. Team members were highly praised for their grit and determination in completing both the full Ironman and the 70.3 distance events, showcasing the competitive spirit and dedication that defines the club.

Racing with a Purpose: Cooling Down Classrooms

True to the TriNics spirit, the anniversary wasn't just about athletic milestones; it was also about making a tangible difference in the community.

  • The Initial Push: On June 11, 2026, a day prior to the main celebration, Mr. Ricky Halasan and a select group of members personally turned over a donation of 11 units of wall fans to Brgy. Duhat Elementary School.

The Team Steps Up: Prompted by a desire to do even more to alleviate ventilation issues for local students, members chipped in additional donations during the anniversary event itself. This collective effort successfully raised enough funds to purchase an additional 15 wall fans, bringing the total donation to 26 units.

  • Completing the Mission: On June 17, 2026, the second batch of fans was officially delivered and warmly accepted by school authorities and students, fulfilling the team's commitment to improving the local learning environment.

"TriNics remains fully committed to its core dual mission: promoting a healthy, active lifestyle through multisport, and actively reaching out to uplift the communities around us." — Mr. Ricky Halasan, TriNics President

Heading into our tenth year, TriNics remains dedicated to proving that our greatest victories happen not just on the racecourse, but through the meaningful impact we make in our community.
